   perlmodul 'Video::Info'. (video samples ...)

new in 0.72
------------

This release come with a lot of changes/news.

The news in a nutshell:
 - reading time/info of common video files
 - an equalizer was added
 - there is a new context menu
 - added a repeate one track function
 - there is a new playlist for bookmarks
 - many improvements was also made

Other important news:
It is highly recommended to download the latest
MPlayer version (cvs snapshot source). Otherwise
it could be, that some functions does not work
 properly.
 Here is the link:
http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/cvs/MPlayer-current.tar.bz2

The reason is, that until mplay-0.71, mplay had a
workaround for mp3-files because there was a bug
in MPlayer concerning the percent position with mp3-files.
Now this bug is fixed and the workaround was removed.
There are also other improvements so I really suggest
 to download the latest MPlayer-cvs-snapshot.

Multi playlists:
 The multi-playlist policy has changed.
Now there are 4 playlists for your needs.
 Reachable over [F1] - [F4]. The new
bookmarks playlist is [F5]. And now you can
 easy bookmark tracks ([Alt+b]).
Just read the internal help or the manpage.

p.s.:it could be that the old playlists
      will be ignored.

Furthermore:
Now the times of the actual playlist will be saved
when closing. So when restarting, the time will
not be calculated if the playlist has not changed.

I hope that's all... :)
have fun

The bug with browser-bar after adding stuff
recursive was fixed.

In filebrowser-mode now you can navigate
easy by holding down the [ALT]-key and
then press e.g. the [k]-key. Then the
browser-bar jumps to the first
file/directory which begins with an k.

Search funktion would be improved. Now it
operates in a 'type ahaed' way. Searching
while typing.

Now it is possible to pass mplayer options
to mplayer on commandline.

new in 0.70
------------

A search-function would be implemented.

Many improvements in the filebrowser-mode:
- now the actuall path will be shown.
- backspace = "cd .."
- the actual path will be saved over an exit.

And there are also generally improvements
which are not very obviously.

...there are also some forgotten things :-)

new in 0.68
------------

HTTP streams, passed over command-line were
rejected in the last version. Now it is fixed.

The install skript was updated to be more
compatible with different UNIX systems.
(Especially for FreeBSD)
Thanks to Drax (Alex).

new in 0.67
------------

Now there is a config file ~/.mplay/mplayconf
where you can specify which extensions should
be added to playlist.

Several bugfixes were made
concerns mainly:
- non-existing files
- switch between playlists
- Escape-key

new in 0.66
------------

Following things were added:
- a "randomize playlist" function in the sort mode
- a "repeat all" function (switchable)

Added function of PageUp / PageDown keys where it
makes sense. (playlist, filebrowser-, help-mode)

In mixer-, sort-, color- and filebrowser-mode the
status informations (elapsed time, current
playing file...) will also be processed/displayed.

Scrolling of playlist appears now not anymore
page wise but bit wise which is more pleasantly.
That applies also for filebrowser-mode.

If deleting a file from playlist, and current
played file appears not in playlist then the
display don't jump to current played file
anymore. That applies also for all other things
where a refresh of playlist is made. Display
will only jump to current played file when
switching to another track in playlist.

Total-time will be refreshed now after deleting
a file from playlist.

Fixing bug with total-time after adding additional
stuff over filebrowser.

new in 0.65
------------

The key [Ctrl+a] for clearing whole playlist was
moved to [Alt+Del] because of overlaping with
"screen".

new in 0.64

Better OGG-Support.
The tag and info will now also be queried for
OGG files. Just like with MP3 files.
Otherwise, many improvements over the whole code.
